Community Grants

A vital part of The Foundation’s mission is to make grants that enhance the living conditions and environment for the citizens of our county. Our grants are made possible through generous donations from families, individuals and corporations who give either directly to The Foundation or through their Donor Advised or Scholarship Funds that we hold for them. The following is a list of our grants from 2007 to the present from all avenues of The Foundation. Community Welcome House

$280 Through our general grants process, a grant was awarded to build an Art Therapy Area.

Distinguished Young Women of Newnan-Coweta County

$500 Through our general grants process, a grant was awarded to assist with their Scholarship Fund.

University of West Georgia

$2,000 Austin Gordon Scholarship from the W. C. Adamson Scholarship Fund.

Coweta Commission on Veterans Affairs

$500 Through our general grants process, a grant was awarded to assist with Muster IV.

Boys and Girls Club - Newnan/Coweta

$750 Through our general grants process, a grant was awarded to assist with the Art Program.

Oak Hill Cemetery Foundation

$2,250 Through our pass-thru program, we assisted community members to conduct a Revitalization Project.

University of Georgia Foundation

$100 General Operating - through a generous donation from an individual Donor Advised Fund.

Lenoir-Rhyne University

$100 Foundation - through a generous donation from an individual Donor Advised Fund.

Salvation Army - Newnan

$711 Fill The Stocking - Each year, in partnership with The Newnan Times-Herald, our community's citizens make donations to support local charities during the holiday season.
