Request A Grant

The dates for our 2019-2020 grant cycle will be announced in the upcoming week! The grant application process is as follows:

For Coweta Nonprofit Agencies or Agencies who serve Coweta residents:

We will be announcing the details for the upcoming grant cycle in the next week!

For 2019, grant applications will be accepted beginning June 10th and the deadline for submission is August 31st. Grant applications and submissions will only be online. You will be given a login once you have attended the workshop.

Beginning September 1st, the Foundation's Grants Committee will begin reviewing grant applications. Once the grant applications have been reviewed, we will begin scheduling and conducting on-site visits and interviews with the applicants. This part of the process will end by November 30th.

For Educational Classroom Grants (local Coweta County School Educators):

Grant applications will be accepted beginning October 1st and deadline for submission is November 1st. Grant applications and submissions will only be online. If you would like to apply or have questions regarding the grant application process, please email ojones@cowetafoundation.org.

Beginning November 4th, the Foundation's Grant Committee will begin reviewing grant applications.

For all applicants:

Those who are being suggested for grant awards by our Grants Committee will be presented to the Board of Directors for approval at our December Board Meeting. All recipients will be notified in writing before December 31st.

Other IMPORTANT items of interest:

  • Only one grant application per approved nonprofit/Coweta County Educator per award cycle.
  • All applications must be complete with all supporting documents requested uploaded to system.
