The Coweta Community Foundation is extending its reach into local high schools for the third year.
The organization is conducting a search for the best and brightest students in Coweta County to promote service and community where it all begins. CCF partners with public, private and home school high school programs that serve Coweta County residents to attract talented and diverse freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors who are service minded and willing to give back.
CCF will offer mentorship and scholarship opportunities to the individuals selected to serve on the High School Community Service Team.. We recognize that great, innovative ideas will result from this partnership, and we can all benefit from that. We hope these same members become the future board members and committee chairs in the Foundation one day.
Applications will be accepted from July 31st, 2018 through September 4th, 2018. Notifications will be made via email on September14th, 2018 with a parent and team member welcome meeting on September 20th, 2018 6:30 PM at the Central Education Center located on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Members will then come together for a team building exercise at Banning Mills. Additional meetings will be held in November at West Georgia Tech, December at the University of West Georgia, January at CCF, February at CCF and March at CCF.
